In our first two calls, we discussed the difference between inclusionary zoning and housing affordability, and shared some of the challenges to housing affordability such as construction costs, taxes, zoning regulations, parking requirements, financing limitations, and others, as well as a few success stories of infill development and designs for affordable, and even sustainable homes.

As an accompaniment to this ongoing conversation, members are encouraged to read the book Brave new Home, by Diana Lind. We will aim to discuss chapter two on our third call.
