FUNDAMENTALS OF RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION AND THE VT RBES (ENERGY CODE)

This six-hour course will cover the basics of the International Residential Code (IRC), the foundational building code for residential construction in the United States, as well as Vermont’s Residential Building Energy Standards (RBES). The course is intended for homebuilders, designers, and zoning/building officials. For the first time, we will teach from phone or lap-top apps to help builders get used to accessing codes online. This course includes two months’ free access to online codes.
