AIAVT invites members and friends to take part in an event designed to introduce "Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI)" topics to the VT architectural profession.

We will be joined by Dr. Julia Bernard, Vice President Of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Norwich University, who will lead a presentation and workshop on these important topics. We'll dive into how these topics impact you, your colleagues, and clients from inside your firm to out on a job site.

This event will help us gauge where the profession is currently, and help lay the foundation for an equitable professional framework in VT.

AIAVT is interested in collecting stories from our members to both celebrate diversity and to recognize where and how we need to improve equity and inclusion.

Tell us your stories: What experiences have you had working in the architecture, design, engineering, and construction industry in Vermont that you believe are related to your racial identity, gender, sexuality, physical abilities, religion, age, or otherwise? What are your experiences on the job site, working with consultants, vendors, clients, and architects?
