Dear Architects, Builders, and Allied Professionals,
Southwest Region Planning Commission (SWRPC) is excited to announce the Monadnock Region ADU Design Challenge. This unique design competition seeks to help homeowners and communities envision how accessory dwelling units (ADUs) can meet a range of household needs and fit within a variety of contexts. We’ve recruited 11 homeowners to volunteer their properties as case study sites. Design challenge participants will select one case study site as the basis of their conceptual design. By rooting the design challenge in real, on-the-ground examples, we hope to spark interest and inspire confidence in other property owners who may be interested in exploring ADU development.
