The School of Architecture + Art is pleased to announce a talk by Cam Featherstonehaugh,
Senior Associate at Truex Cullins. Please join us in person on Friday, January 19, 2024 from
12pm - 1pm in the Gallery of Chaplin Hall. Cam Featherstonehaugh is a beloved alumnus of
Norwich University’s School of Architecture, 2005. Cam currently serves as the National Board
Chair of The Construction Specifications Institute.
Cam is a native of Northfield, Vermont and both of his parents were Norwich professors. For
almost 20 years he has generously given back to our community through technology tutorials
and jury reviews. On Friday he will address students of architecture + art and the university
community at large about the role that volunteerism had played in his career. He possesses
profound knowledge of high-performance envelope design, as well as extensive experience with
high performance system integration, including mechanical systems, automated building
controls, structure, daylight harvesting, and lighting controls. He currently focuses on K-12
education and co-presented the design of the Winooski Vermont School Project at the AIA 2023
Conference on Architecture in San Francisco. This project, designed and built for a diverse
population, provides a case study using a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to inform the
architectural design process and student learning process.
This lecture is co-sponsored by NUAIAS and the SoA+A Lecture Series fund
