Join our Efficiency Vermont team for a Vermont Residential Building Energy Standards (RBES) training series. AIA continuing education credit approval pending. In April the training focus is Compliance Options – Prescriptive Packages, REScheck, HERS Rating.

Trainings series schedule:
• February: 2023 RBES Overview – Substantial changes from 2020
• April: Compliance options – Prescriptive Packages, REScheck, HERS Rating, and RBES Certificate
• June: Deep dive into the points table and examples of points options
• August: Mechanical ventilation requirements – balance ventilation: how to design and install
• October: Solar-ready and all-electric ready system requirements
• December: RBES compliant building shell and air barrier design

April LOs:
Learn the overview on how to complete the RBES certificate depending on compliance path chosen
Understand building system and component requirements for prescriptive compliance
Learn step by step procedure of HERS rating process
Understand general performance modeling data points for ResCheck and HERS
