AIAVT Has a New Office!
On February 21st, AIAVT hosted an Open House event to mark the Grand Opening of the new AIAVT office, located at 47 Maple Street, Suite 315. The event took place in the shared "rooftop space", which looks out over Lake Champlain to the west.
A casual event, approximately fifty members and friends of the chapter turned out to enjoy refreshments, network and to see AIAVT's new location above Maglianero's cafe in the Karma Birdhouse building. AIAVT's Executive Director, Sarah O Donnell, moved into a private office in the building in early October. "It's been a long time dream of the chapter to have a physical location, somewhere our director can work to fulfill the day to day needs of the chapter as well as a place where committee members can hold meetings, and the occasional event like this one" said AIAVT Board President, Joel Page.
With a small staff of just one, Sarah requests that members call or email ahead if they would like to stop by or find a time to meet, as she is often in meetings, on calls, or travelling to various parts of the state on behalf of AIAVT.
Special thanks go to Carolyn Bates for photographing the event.
