This year's AIAVT Guy Teschmacher Memorial Golf Tournament was a unique opportunity to host a fun and safe event during the year of social distancing. Players gathered with masks on at the Stowe Country Club on Thursday, August 20th. Many enjoyed the opportunity to see friends and colleagues in person, now a novelty since all meetings went virtual in March of this year.

One of our long standing players and sponsors, Bob Neeld shared his thoughts "I have enjoyed the AIA golf outings for several years. Even the one where Rolf Kielman placed a large divot on my head- complete with photographic evidence to be revived many months later in a most embarrassing situation! Engineering Ventures sponsors this event as our way of giving back to the architectural community that has supported us for the last 25 years, but also, because it is a great way to interact with so many of the architects that have become good friends in a fun, laid back setting that promotes comradery. It’s fun, It’s golf, and it is supporting a good cause."

First Place: Crown Point Team (Brian Stowell, Dylan Adamovich, Finn Allen, Reeve Wilkinson). Prize: Four greens fees at Jay Peak

Second Place: ReArch & DEW Team (Chris Huston, Johnny Illick, Kevin Longe, Pete Kelley). Prize: Four Greens Fees at Stowe Country Club

Third Place: VHB Team (Mike Willard, Mark Hamelin, Kurt Muller, Andrew Mills). Prize: Four greens fees at Montpelier Elks CC

Closest to the Pin: Nigel Mucklow. Prize: Copley Country Club, two greens fees
Longest Drive Women: Kim Levins. Prize: Rocky Ridge Golf Club, two greens fees
Longest Drive Men: Rich Davis. Prize: Arrowhead Golf Course, two greens fees

Putting Contest: Joel Page. Prize: Joel generously donated his half of the 50/50 cash prize back to the scholarship fund. Thank you Joel!
