The year in review....
EPN held our 6th Annual LIVE & UNPLUGGED Design Charrette Competition in Stowe, and we had an amazing turnout. It was a fun filled day with creative competitors and great projects across the board. Thank you to Stowe Free Library for the use of your meeting room! Congratulations to the winners: 1st Place Heather Mooney and Phoebe Howe; 2nd Place Will Lones, Tyler Whalen, and Brennen Donnelly; and 3rd Place Isadora Dickstein, and Marjorie Dickstein!
We launched our new Tech_Nest group focused on Architectural technologies. The group's goal is to create a space where the Architecture Community can collectively develop skills and share best practices. Reach out to EPN if you are interested in joining this forward-thinking group!
We held a Meetup & Network event to get up to speed with how the EPN Community was doing and to connect Emerging Professionals across all of the Design & Construction disciplines. Thanks again to Dore & Whittier Architects for sharing your meeting space with us!
EPN helped celebrate the 75th Annual Design Awards by holding a Napkin Sketch activity to align with the Back to the Future Theme. We had some pretty creative doodles!
EPN helped coordinate a Firm Tour for the Norwich AIAS group. We wanted to allow students to get a glimpse into the profession and hopefully give them the encouragement and momentum to keep plugging through their schooling and achieve their degree. Thanks again to gbArchtitecture for hosting these eager students!
EPN helped organize a Norwich Studio Tour for Vermont High School Students interested in pursuing degrees in Architecture and wanting to learn more about the program at Norwich. This event also allowed the Norwich AIAS students get hands on experience with organizing the tour schedule and managing a small group of visitors on the campus.
