Pella + Purpose Program Raises $8,850 for AIAVT's Scholars Fund
Pella would like to sincerely thank all who participated in the 2023 Pella + Purpose Program. Through your efforts, Pella contributed $8,850 to the AIAVT Scholarship Fund! Participants needed to attend just two events from the variety that Pella offered throughout the year, including showroom tours, assorted LU webinars, in-office presentations, and the BBQ showroom social. By doing so, the following participants each earned a $150 donation to the AIAVT Scholarship fund:

Although 59 participants from 21 firms partook in two or more events, 27 others from an additional 14 firms attended only one event. The program has a goal of a $10,000 contribution to the scholarship program. We have been building over the last two years, with donations totaling $7,500 in 2022 and $8,850 in 2023. With your help, let’s achieve our $10k goal in 2024! We have a lot of ways to partake, including 6 LU/HSW Session #1 Webinars scheduled as follows:
Session #1 Programs (1 HSW each):
- Friday, February 2nd: Window & Door Solutions for High-End Residential and Institutional Projects (by the Luxury Division) Register Here
- Wednesday, March 27th: Understanding Window and Door Performance Terms
- Friday, April 19th: Window Solutions for Historic Buildings
- Wednesday, July 31st: Window Codes and Standards Review
- Wednesday, September 4th: Glazing Strategies for Sound Control (GBC credit available)
- Friday, November 15th: Window and Door Performance Requirements for Buildings
And we have some great in-showroom session #2 programs scheduled as well.
Session #2 Programs
- Thursday, May 9th: Architectural Engagement Event (i.e. Pecha Kucha, Panel Discussion or Roundtable)
- Thursday, June 27th : Cookout and Debut of the 250 Series Multi-slide Door onto the Terrace
- Thursday, October 3rd: LU-HSW Extravaganza with Special Guests.
All Session #2 Programs are presented at the South Burlington Pella showroom on Dorset Street. If an in-office presentation is more desirable, we can make that happen.
The Vermont Chapter of the American Institute of Architects awards six scholarships annually to students pursuing architectural education. Pella values the vital contribution architects make to our world. We’re proud to help support students who will soon be entering the workforce, adding to the life-improving benefits provided by the architectural community.
