AIAVT is requesting that members review the changes proposed for the AIAVT bylaws, which can be found in this linked pdf. All proposed changes are highlighted in yellow.

These changes are due in part because AIA's Board of Directors voted to dissolve regions. AIAVT's Bylaws have been amended to remove references to the AIA New England regional organization.  There is also the striking out of the requirement that, in order to have a quorum, a minimum of 30% of members must attend a Chapter meeting in person.

The bylaws will be approved by a vote of the members at the AIAVT 2021 Design Awards and Annual Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 9, 2020 at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, VT.
