Welcome New AIAVT Members:
Katelyn Hudsond, D.Arch, Ph.D is an architectural designer and researcher. She is a designer with the Cushman Design Group and a former faculty member at Vermont Technical College. She earned degrees from Vermont Technical College and the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture prior to earning her Doctor of Architecture at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and PhD in Architecture at Bond University. Her research focuses on the human:nature connection of biophilic design and the architecture of extreme environments, primarily Antarctica. Beyond the field of Architecture, Katelyn runs marathons & triathlons, and volunteers with the local Girl Scout Council.
Michael Chaucer, Assoc AIA
Michael Chaucer is a graduate of both Burlington High School and the University of Vermont, and will complete his Master of Architecture degree at Boston Architectural College in May of 2024. Michael has a decade of hands-on construction experience, and since 2019 has been working in single- and multi-family design while working towards licensure as an architect through NCARB’s IPAL program. He is passionate about fostering physical and mental health through design, and about creating social spaces that are equitable, sustainable, and beautiful.
