Centerline Architects & Planners, P.C. is an award-winning architectural firm with offices located in Bennington and Burlington, Vermont. We are experienced with residential, commercial, educational, and historic renovation projects. In addition, we have an in-depth knowledge of code and building requirements. We seek a full-time Architectural Intern to join our dynamic team in a support role as they grow and learn through hands-on experiences. Our ideal candidate will collaborate and support project managers in all phases of development, eventually taking the lead on our many ongoing projects, from schematic design to design development and construction documentation. This person should be self-motivated and possess the ability to utilize current technologies to achieve a project’s outcome.

Our philosophy is to design and construct cost-effective, sustainable, and sensitive buildings for the world around them. We believe a well-designed building should be efficient in size, life cycle costs, energy consumption, and environmental impact.

Our process is collaborative, as our whole team of talented architects, designers, and LEED-accredited professionals work closely with clients to determine their needs and keep them informed throughout the architectural process. This process culminates in a comprehensive and complete solution that is developed and implemented. The successful outcomes of our projects have resulted in lasting relationships with many of our clients.

A successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related discipline or 5+ years of experience in design/drafting
• 1 - 3+ years working in the field of architecture, including all related internship experience
• A desire to expand their familiarity with the production of construction drawings in Revit and their understanding of
CAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy
• Effective communication (oral/written) and graphic skills
• A team player who is comfortable working collaboratively as they learn and grow into a leadership role
• Organized and self-motivated
