Architectural Project Manager
As an Architectural Project Manager in the Bensonwood Design Group, you will specialize in working with OpenHome, a design system created in with partnership with other internationally-known architectural firms. Bensonwood combines heritage craftsmanship with next generation technology, creating homes and commercial structures that are better for people and the planet. We specialize in customizable standards-based architecture and offer custom design/build services for projects requiring the highest levels of energy efficiency and minimal on-site building time.
This role is based in bucolic Walpole, NH, the best of rural New England, 15 minutes from the vibrant small city of Keene. A heaven for outdoor enthusiasts, while just 2 hours from Boston and 4 hours from New York City.

Primary Responsibilities
Work with OpenHome partner firms to manage their projects within Bensonwood’s internal process.
Develop and/or review client and consultant proposals for projects, develop internal project budgets and schedules and keep these updated throughout the duration of the project.
Engage in professional and direct communication with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
Review building code, accessibility compliance and zoning/ordinance restrictions for various projects in coordination with our internal team, subcontractors and partners.
Meet with clients of OpenHome partner firms and BWC to complete the design process including finish designing projects by selecting plumbing, light fixtures and finishes.
Communicate back to OpenHome partner firms and BWC on the status of projects and schedules.
Liaison between Bensonwood and OpenHome partner firms to refine processes and products as designs develop.
Manage the OpenHome process, including coordinating with multiple different internal Bensonwood teams.
Maintain and update OpenHome Standards (specifications, selections & finishes) Document.
Collaboration with an interior designer.
Manage time, communication, and documentation effectively to handle multiple projects at one time.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years in architectural design, construction, project management, or design/build
Degree in architecture, interior architecture, construction management or related field
Experience in sustainable design and building.
Expertise in providing consultative style service. Goal is to provide excellent customer service with a collaborative approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of building codes and zoning regulations.
Positive, team player that thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation & Benefits
