Associate Designer
Emerging or established architect to participate in all project phases.
EHA+D is a small, dynamic, award-winning, residential-focused architecture firm recognized for our design excellence and our commitment to energy efficient and sustainable building. We are looking for a well-rounded team member who is interested in participating in all aspects of a small practice.
Requirements:
Professional Degree in Architecture
3 years minimum experience working in architecture firm
Licensed or actively working toward licensure
Proficiency in BIM modeling (Archicad, Revit, etc.), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills/Responsibilities:
Must demonstrate an interest in working in all aspects of a small architectural practice.
Must be an excellent problem solver and have the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
Strong design skills: Must be able to develop strong design solutions and details at all phases of a project. Must be skilled at preparing conceptual drawings, 3d cad models, and cad renderings.
Construction documents: Must have proficient technical skills and visual communication/graphics skills. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their in-depth knowledge and level of experience preparing construction documents with minimal to no supervision, and coordinating work with structural engineers and other consultants.
Must be able to work within time constraints.
Must have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable meeting with clients, builders and consultants, among others.
