Designer/ Draftsperson

Black River Design, Architects in Montpelier, VT is seeking a Designer/Draftsperson

This is a long-term career opportunity in a collegial, collaborative, and iterative design environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to take initiative and work efficiently within project deadlines to create, review, coordinate, and correct design and construction documents.

Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of Architectural office experience
• Professional degree or diploma preferred
• Commitment to sustainable design and design excellence
• Strong attention to details and accuracy
• Experience with commercial construction detailing preferred
• Expertise in drafting construction documents and specifications
• Familiarity with consultant drawings
• Effective written and spoken communication skills
• Positive and collaborative attitude

Preferred Technical Proficiencies
• Revit
• Bluebeam
• MS Office
• Adobe Creative Suite
