AIA Vermont is hosting this course, in partnership with Efficiency VT, to provide a training for architects on the types of air to water equipment available on the market, how the equipment functions, and the differences between mono-bloc and split system types, as well as basic hydronic and hydro-coil applications for space conditioning and domestic hot water applications.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
Recognize and understand the two different equipment types of air to water heat pump systems, and determine which is appropriate for a given application.
Understand delivery options for distribution and domestic hot water use with air to water equipment.
Understand the fundamentals for good quality distribution design that aligns with air to water equipment capabilities.
Have an understanding of hydronic distribution fundamentals.
