Ian Donahue PE, Project Manager with LN Consulting will present an overview of the mechanical system
design for the Winooski School District Capital Project. This would include discussing the heat pump
system(s) which will provide space conditioning along with the ventilation systems for the facility.
The Winooski Schools complex houses 850 students from PK-12 in a single facility.
TruexCullins Architecture led a master planning process aimed to modernize and transform the district’s
aging facilities into 21st century learning environments that support the school’s pedagogy and values.
LN Consulting of Burlington VT was in charge of the mechanical system design.
The result is a $57.8m addition and renovation project that revitalizes the existing facilities while
including environmental benefits such as geothermal heating and cooling, energy recovery ventilation,
and solar-ready features.
