Diantha Korzun to be VT Representative to the AIA Strategic Council

AIA Vermont's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Diantha Korzun, AIA of gbA Architecture and Planning in Montpelier, VT will be stepping into the role of AIA Strategic Councilor, representing the AIA Vermont chapter in this role. This two-year position will provide a variety of ways to engage with the challenges and opportunities facing the profession, from both the national and local perspectives. Proposed AIAVT Bylaws Amendments for 2022

AIAVT is requesting that members review the changes proposed for the AIAVT bylaws, which can be found in this linked pdf. All proposed changes are highlighted in yellow.
These changes are due in part because AIA's Board of Directors voted to dissolve regions. AIAVT's Bylaws have been amended to remove references to the AIA New England regional organization.  There is also the striking out of the requirement that, in order to have a quorum, a minimum of 30% of members must attend a Chapter meeting in person.
The bylaws will be approved by a vote of the members at the AIAVT 2021 Design

Each year, as per AIAVT's bylaws, the list of nominated members of the Board of Directors, as well as the officers must be warned to the membership 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting, which will take place on December 9th, 2021. Please find the list of nominated board members and officers below.
