Goldfield Construction: Aaron Goldfield, Assoc AIA, has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry in New England. First introduced to the trades at the age of 12 on the commercial and residential job sites of the family company under his father’s ownership. With such an early introduction into that business, he was able to experience and learn about every part of the construction process.
Working through the ranks of laborer to carpenters helper, his learning was passed through the lineage of some of Vermont’s finest carpenters and tradesmen. As college at the University of Vermont finished, entering back into the workforce as a lead carpenter, and his supervision and management of crews developed rapidly. It was apparent that there was a high level of skill and interest in the management side of the business. Site supervisor was the next logical progression within the company. As the projects, both residential and commercial, got larger and more complex there was a high need for project management throughout the company’s operations. Aaron rose quickly to that role and created an amazing working environment for all the staff and subcontractors.
With a high level of foresight and anticipation of challenges, from a lifetime of on-the-job training, the company was able to grow into an elite level of construction management. In 2020 the company was restructured into a corporation where Aaron and his brother Steve are the owners and operators. The founder and father Mike Goldfield became the lead estimator and sales executive under the guidance of his two sons as the company was brought into the new age of modern construction.
