Architect/Designer

Sidehill Design Studio is looking for an architect/designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Shelburne, Vermont.

Sidehill Design Studio is an award-winning firm based in Shelburne, VT. The firm was started in 2021 and its portfolio has grown quickly. Projects include both private homes and community buildings. We work closely with clients throughout the entire building process - from initial design through the end of construction.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Architecture
• Strong interest in design and sustainability
• 3-5 years of experience working in an architecture office
• Interested in learning and growing in a small business environment
• Strong communication skills, able to work well with clients, builders, contractors, and coworkers
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup
• Experience with Revit is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Developing and updating construction documents
• Coordination with consultants
• Regular meetings with builders
• Developing and updating design modeling for client presentations
